So, it’s a shame that there was that whole bad Chobani yogurt ordeal this summer. But, it kind of happens far too often with a lot of companies. If you have decided to judge the yogurt now that all of the products are back on track, well that’s too bad, because this brand produces one heck of a delicious yogurt.
I’m actually obsessing over their Flips — specifically the Tropical Escape one that has pineapple, coconut, hazelnuts and granola. Yum. I think I eat one every day. Until this specific Flip flavor came out I don’t think I ever really enjoyed yogurt.
While wandering around Soho a few weeks ago with my lovely friend from PSU, we walked by Chobani SoHo. First of all, I have to tell you that I had just finished eating brunch. Was I hungry? No, not at all. But I just had to jump into the shop because it was long over due. I pretty much got the same combo as my favorite Flip but the freshness was obviously completely different. The fruit wasn’t blended like it is in the grocery store version, this pineapple was freshly chopped!
It was an exceptionally tasty experience and I can’t wait to take my out of town friends here. Hopefully, Chobani considers opening other locations like this. It would be incredible having this down in the Financial District where I now work. One of these shops just isn’t enough.
